{THE FINAL CUTTER'S CORNER #388} * sigh * Well...this is it for me. The quote is something I made up that sort of summarizes all my comments from yesterday. Basically, if there's something you want to do, so spend all your time waiting, planning, or preparing to do it, if it's really something you want, then just go ahead and do it.

I hope I'm not alone when I say this, but these last few weeks have been hard for me. I think we've all experienced some kind of loss or just grown away from some certain thing, but even though this place seems silly, it's gonna be a big loss all in one day. The whole situation has made me feel stressed and anxious, I guess because there was so much I felt still needed to be

and things I wanted to do here. I've been constantly thinking about it, and have had this strange feeling inside, like the nervousness of starting a new year of school or something. The feeling has kept me awake at night, so I had to do some stuff about it. I've contacted lots of people I know on here and I'm happy to know that I'll still be able to see them afterward.

It won't be the same, but close enough, and it makes the transfer feel easier. I feel that every year, looking back I can see a real noticeable growth in everything, of course the Miiverse posts make that apparent, and I wish I had the time to go save the comment sections of all my posts, but I chose to go around and save an offline version of tons of people's post histories instead.

Not only have I gotten to see my own growth, but scrolling through so many other people's profiles I've really gotten to see their growth as well. Most of us started using the site 3-5 years ago, and it's amazing to see especially some of the really impressive artists all started out from humble beginnings of rough simple drawings that improve over the years in many ways.

Just so many memories that I'll be able to fondly sift through in the future. It's a shame that I feel like I starting to get to know some people better now, just in time for the place to end. It's also ironic that I feel like I'm opening up the most right as this place is set to close. I'm really reserved in real life, but it's nice to have a place to come and just let out some of your thoughts

I remember for a while I pretty much didn't want to give away any sort of personal info, but I'm glad I got past that. I'm usually quite stoic in real life, not showing much emotion or talking unless I'm at home or with friends, sort of the stereotypical “men don't express weak emotions” but hopefully I'm not alone to admit that I've cried a lot (manly tears!) during these last days.

Probably more than I have in the last 3-5 years combined. You can't always explain emotions, but I think it's just the fact of knowing that in a few days I'll never be able to visit this place again. Even if I'm able to find tons of you outside of this place, Miiverse has still been a huge chunk of my life, literally checking my 3DS activity, Pokemon X is in second with 469 hours

And Miiverse has a whopping 1149 hours! My total activity time on 3DS is 4193 hours, which means Miiverse is about a quarter of the overall time I've spent on my 3DS. Most of the time comes from drawing...but then I also mostly view Miiverse from my computer and phone, so that number of hours is probably way bigger.

I check Miiverse probably way more than I realize, and it's literally been the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning. Lots of people have their Yeah Notification turned off, but I've always really enjoyed being able to see them. It's always nice to see the familiar faces show up in the notifications, and even if I don't interact with most of my followers, it gives me a better idea of

who they are to an extent. I've been opposed to doing this in the past for various reasons, but I think I'd like to do a quick shout out list for some of the people that I feel have helped me out a lot over the years (in alphabetic order) BCH, Ben, Damian, Erl, Flippercorn, Mike B, Montana, Ninten★Sam, Olivia☆, Ray, Relyt, Talakori, and Zheoferyth

I likely missed some people... which is one reason I didn't want to do this in the past. I'd say that these are some of the people that I've known for the longest or or become really good friends that I'm happy to have stuck with me. Please no hard feelings if you're not on the list. If you're actually reading all this, then you were very likely considered to be included.

But if I continued adding names I know that I would have eventually just restated my friends, following, and followers list. No matter who you are, I'd like to thank you for being a part of this community and hopefully part of my experience here as well. I wish I could have gotten to know more people on here well. And maybe actually have more chances to play multiplayer games with people

But there's no need to think about regrets. One final I decided to reveal if you've stuck around this long which I think very few people know here, which is what CutterL means. Well, it's pretty much just my name, Luke Cutter...but keep it a secret. I think that's all I've got for now, thank you, and see you in the future my friends, wherever it takes us! 12/10/2013 – 11/07/2017
