2016's "memers" are very ignorant, and don't understand the concept of what makes a meme... A meme. Every meme that lasts more than a week is automatically "old" and "overused" to them, when in reality, memes from 2005 or even earlier have lasted MUCH longer. Look at the Mario CDI and Mama Luigi memes. Those lasted YEARS, and are known as some of the first memes. (continued in the comments)

    Also, "stealing" memes have become a thing and it's stupid, really. The word "meme" originated in a very old book I cannot remember the name of. It's definition back then was "something that spread by word of mouth or otherwise" or something similar. Memes are MEANT to be shared. "Stealing" memes does not exist.
