    I think it'll be a nice, fresh take on it. Plus it reminds me of the Trainer School arc during Diamond and Pearl, which I really enjoyed.

    Well, probably because it looks like Sun&Moon won't have the traditional Pokémon League, so Ash wouldn't have much to do in Alola. I guess the showrunners decided to just send him to school then.

    I sadly stopped watching the Pokemon Anime around the Galactic Battles era. Because apparently, the writers of the newer seasons only care more about the Pokemon action sequences more than actual story-telling and Humor.
