After playing this game more thoroughly, I can say it's not as good as 64, even on 200cc it feels super slow! Getting hit by an item will make you go from first to last instantly, and you seem more likely to be combo'd. Coins are the worst addition and make or break the race, collecting and especially keeping coins is really difficult. Other than that this game is great.
