  • We had roll cake last night in the Game Cube's honor. (Any excuse for cake.)

  • We bought a Game Cube as our first console, used, well into the Wii system life span. $25. My Eldest played it (the game was Animal Crossing, I think) for a hour, looked at me with shining eyes, and said, "Mommy, this is amazing!"

  • Nice Ryo. Phantasy Star Online Episode I&II was me and my brothers favorite Gamecube game. We played it alot. Even after our files deleted. There were alot of gamecube games we played and wanted to play. They were fun.

Sure is I was hoping they remade pantasy Star online for the 3DS but that never happened ... but never say never.

  • I wouldn't mind a remake or even a new one. They made Phantasy Star Zero on DS and I liked its story and gameplay and that people can chat by drawing (There were some good drawings made by people you could even save them.). It'd be cool to see and play a 3ds Phantasy Star Online game.

  • the gamecube was my childhood. mario kart and ssx3 were probably my favorite games. i hope they make another ssx. give it a great soundtrack like in 3, but at least have the option to not use motion controls if the console has them. that's what killed blur on the wii for me.

  • Zero was a great game but it straight to four from the original formula and I feel that it lacked that charm that the original PSO head which is why I really couldn't get into it

Yes when the gamecube launched it had on line functionality even keyboard support for phantasy star online, while the official game servers are offline, but you can still play on private servers with your GameCube.

When it released for the GameCube I moved from the Dreamcast version of PSO to the GameCube version because it allegedly had upscaled graphics and gameplay enhancements LOL it was exactly the same But the 16 year old me thought it was revolutionary!

  • Those were the only ones I know about too, but our family didn't have internet during those years so those online functions were unavailable to us. It was nice to see it as an option for those who had it though.
