How is it that I'm actually able to beat the final boss on both the original AND 3DS versions of Sonic 2 without a save feature or save states, but can't do it on the mobile version which has a save feature?

    I can say that for Sonic 1 and CD, but I think the 3DS version of Sonic 2 might be my preferred version. The inclusion of the ring keeper mode was nice for newcomers who want a bit of a helping hand, and the multiplayer from the original game is still intact.

    weird i have the mobile remakes of sonic 1 and sonic cd but can't get my sonic 2 rom working
