山岳の旅路#32～新王編～台風2号が直撃した新王市では、一番恐れていた一大事が起こってしまいました。そう、川の氾濫です。今回氾濫したのは、市を東西に分ける、[新松川]です。過去にも何度か氾濫していて、一番大きいのは、1995年の氾濫でした。その時は、現在の新王駅南口、西側約150mまで浸水、甚大な被害を受けました。この氾濫を最後に、氾濫は確認されていませんでしたが、今年、その川が牙を剥きました。濁流が川上から押し寄せ、なんと新王線の鉄橋と道路を流し去ってしまいました…… かなり大きな被害を被ってしまいました…… これが秋野本社でも起きないといいが………
