they just seem so much better for each other?? i don't see why lapidot was such a popular ship to begin with. like they have had close to no interactions before they lived together in the barn and even then most of the time lapis hated peridot and how could you not ship amedot after too far i mean- and also the fanart's cuter

Dukes up, Izzy. Let's battle. People shipped them because they were the first and only two Homeworld gems for a while. Kinda funny how the emotionless grump of the two switched from Peridot to Lapis.
