Today the carnival came to my city, and we spent (no lie) FIVE HOURS in the Midway! [5:00PM - 10:00PM] We did the usual. Merry-go-rounds, bumper-cars, and ball tosses. We did a lot, and it's kind of hard to remember, now. My step-dad convinced me to ride the ferris-wheel, too… (Oh wait, did I mention that I have a crippling fear of heights?) My mom decided to pay me $20 if I went up with him. ↓↓

    Obviously I went, but I didn't make it half way to the top, before I started shaking, tensing up, and yelling to my step-dad that I wanted down, but the man running the ride wasn't able to let us off until he stopped it at the end of the ride. I was horrified, I'll be the first to admit. We stopped at the very top of the thing, because the guy was getting people off the wheel, and new ones on. ↓↓

    And then we slowly inched our ways down to the base of the ferris-wheel, and I almost fell down the stairs leading down to the walkway. I was shaking so bad, it looked like I was just in shock. Felt like I was, too. But enough about my crippling phobias, I was happy, (and able to maintain my stress on the ferris-wheel) because I bought an obsidian arrowtip. ↓↓↓

    I used that rock like it was a (very sharp) stress ball. I actually broke the skin on my left hand, because I squeezed it too hard. We went to pick up dinner while we were there, so I got some Chinese food (of course!). All-in-all, it was a fun trip, it really was. Y'know, the kind of fun that makes you nearly go into shock from the speed and/or height of the rides! [END]
