Stop ignoring us and give us a physical release for Fatal Frame 5 already! Do a limited release AT LEAST. You did it for Devil's Third you can do it for this game.

kyle id love a physical release. but now all we can do is hope limited run games gives a physical release. i won't expect a physical release anytime soon. but I'M NOT GIVING UP ON FATAL FRAME'S FUTURE! i won't forget how awful nintendo treated this franchise. this is still a beloved franchise from fans and gamers alike and were being forced to move on cause of NOA'S cowardly localization team!

I will always remeber how NOA handled Fatal Fame. For me this title is going to be one of those decisions that haunts them for decades. Much like the censorship of Mortal Kombat on the SNES, ignoring the importance of mature rated games is what has gotten them the reputation of being for kids. Which is why most gamers consider them irrelevant. Which in turn is why they are in the situation they

are in with the Wii U. No hardware, regardless of processing power, will change their fate until Nintendo embraces mature titles just as much as family friendly titles. Like it or not mature titles sell consoles. Just ask Sony or Microsoft.

Since the Wii U doesnt cease production until 2018, I will keep begging for this between here and Twitter. Plenty of time for them to do us this favor.

well you gotta point there. they still have a chance to earn our trust, we need to keep fighting for this franchise. we need to remind nintendo (Especially their american division) that we still love this franchise and we will not give up on it. we will not be forced to to move away from this franchise, simply because NOA's localization team is to scared to give it a chance. they took no risk @all

Thank you based Kyle, the more they see this kind of talk, the less unlikely a physical release could happen. I'm even thinking of calling their support one of these days and just talking about my utter disappointment with their behavior. Not just this game, but all the others lately too.

I'm definitely gonna push them on talking with Limited Run Games more to get that through. I think they're our best bet left, unless GameStop or someone can pull through (unlikely though, but hey that petition is only 1,800 signatures away from the goal).

I mean, NoA, all you gotta do is work with us here (and Limited Run Games, etc.), listen to your audience, and then you don't have to keep closing these discussion threads over what your audience wants. It seems very anti-consumer to me, which saddens me.

If your hard drive crashes (Which they all do eventually) or your WiiU breaks after 2018, you are out of luck if you want to redownload Fatal Frame. That is the main reason I hate digital media. I like to play my games for years after their release. Sometimes waiting years between plays. With a physical copy thats never an issue. The same can't be said about digital media though.

Hey NoA, the petition on change.org to have this game be released physically (y'know, a good start in the right direction for listening to what your fans want *hint hint*), for whatever reason has become closed now all of a sudden. Any chance you had something to do with that?? Once again, not chill NoA. Not chill at all.

If not letting Limited Run Games do it, license it out to a company like XSeed the way they did for The Last Story and Pandora's Tower, or even Koei Tecmo, the company that made the game. We need to be bombarding them here and on the Nintendo of America Twitter account.

Heck, even GameStop is publishing games now and they already had the deal with Xenoblade Chronicles. All of these wonderful options are available to you NoA, and your fans are just itching to see it happen. Stop disappointing us please, and actually listen to your fans for once.

NOA had plenty of options for publishing Fatal Frame and they chose digital only. Yet another reason Im so upset about how it was handled. These are the types of games Nintendo needs on their platforms to get the hardcore back. Not to mention that this game showed off the gamepad as well. It really is the best way to appeal to the hardcore and show off the Wii U's unique features.

But apparently NOA saw no value in this and tried to bury it on the e shop with very little mention before or after release.

It hurts so freaking much that they didn't have it included at all in their garbage E3 presentation last year. That was absolutely the best place to show it off and give it the marketing it deserves. Everyone and their mother knows horror has made a comeback and is quite popular. Why even buy this franchise if they're just gonna do nothing with it and screw over fans??
