Thoughts on Mega Tyranitar. 1st let me say that a base 80 mega that is SE vs 4 types and has a targeted removal ability has tons of potential. However, I had a chance to test it out last week for a few games vs. Typholsion. I found it's ability clunky to use. It broke the flow and I often missed triggers, especially when it came mid-combo. Needs a more nimble mind and finger to be effective.

Right now I'm trying to decide if it will be worth investing mega speedups in. Could I improve my use with practice? Most likely, yes. Enough to justify it though? Probably not. As for coverage: (all maxed/spedup) Bug → Blaziken Flying → Ampharos Fire → Garchomp Ice → Blaziken All → Rayquaza I'm fine.

I haven't candied it yet for the same reasons; more practice is needed to be able to utilize its mega ability before I throw 15 MSUs at it.

Same here; the power to literally erase whatever parts of the board you want at any given time after evolution is undeniably awesome, but the requirement of thinking your moves over more is why he's not fully candied. When I'm doing non-boss EB levels or grinding PSBs, carefully planning moves is a waste of time unless the stage actually has high HP, and Rayquaza spam usually works much better.

Me? I can't even DEFEAT Mega Tyranitar. Tried 2 teams, both with Disruption Delay. First used Tyranitar, second with 4 SE's. Mega used was Red Gyarados.
