    No offense, but you're misusing the word "original." The original Mario Kart was on the SNES, and the blue spiked shell didn't exist yet. That said, I love both the Wii and SNES versions, but haven't played either in a while. I haven't played 7 or 8 yet to compare them to, either.

    yeah i remember Getting REKT on MK Wii, One night i was playing with my Freinds and i was in 1st place but then BAM! I get hit by a Blue shell, and i lost the race, GOSH THE SADNESS!

    I have lost coutless times because of that shell. Even more if you count MkDS, Mk7, and Mk8. I have only avoided it about once in each of those games. It will forever be annoying. ;)
