(Rant/Salt Warning) My biggest pet peeve is when people use the word "depressed" as a way to describe a temporary emotion, like sadness or regret. Depression is NOT an emotion, it is a sickness. It is far more serious than someone feeling sad for some pathetic reason. As someone who's currently trying to get off of depression meds, it sickens me to see whiny brats use that word for attention.

    What are you talking about? Depression is an emotion anyone can feel. It just happens to be an affliction for you. That's why it's distinguished as "clinical depression".

    Depression is a emotion AND a mental illness. Yet instead of trying to get more likes by saying you're depressed, say you're sad. Saying you are depressed offends people that have the illness. For one I do have depression. I am NOT saying this to get any sort of attention. But, be more carfull when you say things to others, you don't know what they have been through. Thank you for reading this.

    And Scarlet, it IS an emotion, simalar to being sad or felling regret over a past thing you have done. And you should not get as upset over something as small as this. "Brats" are the way they are because they like annoying people like you who talk about people like them. They LOVE them.
