湖水の駅紹介#4 最近スマブラばっかりやってたので久しぶりの更新です。今回は、最近駅ビルをAからBに改築した「北中央新町駅」です。開業当初から2面3線のいわゆる[国鉄形配線]の駅でしたが複々線化工事の進展に伴い1線が追加されました。地下には、地下鉄新町環状線と、工事中の地下鉄西威線の同名の駅があり、乗換も可能となっています。そのため、乗降客数は新町支社4位とかなり上位の駅です。しかし、中央新町駅まで2駅と近く、次回紹介する隣の「東中央新町駅」(乗降客数3位)に快速が止まる事もあり、開業以来普通のみの停車となっています。
