i don't know why so many people want galacta knight in smash

he has no real purpose in the kirby series other than a final boss.

    Guys, let the BIG Kirby fan settle this Ahem... Galactica Knight serves as the superior warrior towards Meta Knight which ups both of their purposes through the game. Not only is he seen as more important then Bandanna Dee, given the right developer, he would share NO MOVES with Meta Knight making a good spot on the roster. He is NOT a meta knight clone

    Now Bandana Dee is a character who needs more relevance towards his own game before properly joining smash. His entire moveset could focus on the Spear which no other character had in Smash. Yes he is a Waddle Dee but a redesign could seperate him farther from his race. His relevance in the recent Kirby games can't be blamed since they used the same engine forcing him to be an item supporter.

    From what I've seen, Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot focused on King Dedede and Meta Knight (including their speed runs) so its likely that the next Kirby game can be centered on Bandana Dee and hopefully a role as a boss could further develop his character. Right now they are both near the same level of relevance so the whole debate against either character makes no sense to me.

    I really like how they fused meta knights moveset with the wing ability to make use of the wings in the Kirby games. I feel like Galactica Knight could be fine with all the moves he used in his boss fights but he still could use moves meta knight never brought to smash. As for BD, he could be paired up with the high jump ability wich would give a cape to his design AND give acess to flight.

    How we have both Bandana Dee & Galacta knight?Both have a weapon which none of the other characters use(a spear & a lance),have an important role in the Kirby games & the some of the fans can play these two in one smash game.

    Since when is Galacta Knight more relevant than Bandana Dee? Didn't GK only show up in ONE game as a bonus boss? BDee on the other hand appeared in over 5 games, and played a far bigger role in these.
