Why do people criticize Generation 5 of Pokémon for the inanimate object Pokémon (which aren't anything new btw) like Klink, Vanilluxe, and Garbodor but nobody ever talks about the blatant recolors that are the Incarnate form Genies

And why doesn't anyone talk about Voltorb and Electrode? Everyone says bad things about Gen5 but some Pokémon have worse designs that are from Gen1 like Voltorb & Electrode.

I feel like the genio (heheh) were supposed to be recolors on purpose to match with the other trios.

I personally love Gen 5's Pokémon selection, mostly because it was the first time there were 150+ Pokémon introduced to a region since Kanto. If they wanted to fit the bill, they did have to take some risks and make some more inanimate objects, just like in Gen 1. The Genies never stood out to me as much as the Swords of Justice/Musketeers, so I never noticed that, personally. ^^"
