I have a burning question. Would it be wise if Disney and Lucasfilm would remake or reboot the Star Wars prequels? Maybe after they finish the sequel trilogy and the anthology movies could they go back and correct what George has wronged?

    But the movies haven't aged well. Neither has the continuity. In Episode 2, Palpatine stated that he would not let the republic fall for what has stood for a thousand years. Yet in Episode 4, Obi-Wan stated that it had stood for a thousand generations. Which is it, Palpatine?

    An average generation is about 25-30 years. Times that to a thousand and you get 2500-3000 years. Unless a generation is 10 years in Star Wars years, the republic wouldn't have stood for a thousand years, it would have stood longer.

    With how much Hollywood is doing reboots and remakes of stuff nowadays (Ghostbusters, DC, Planet of the Apes, James Bond, etc.) I think it would be refreshing to see such a large studio like Disney/LucasArts just leave something alone no matter the condition or reception it currently posseses and just move forward in expanding an already established franchise with new stories and characters.
