【印葉地区開発記】湖東線を延伸した理由はですね今まで多度津方面から松京に行くには、西牧駅で北東線に乗り換える必要がありそれが北東線を混雑させた理由のひとつであり、この混雑を緩和するために延伸しました。画像は、特急多度矢又が印葉多度津駅でスイッチバックするようすです。この特急は、平日は印葉多度津と松京をノンストップで結ぶため通勤客に休日は、松京から多度矢又湖村に向かう家族連れの利用客が多いです。
