    Why another remake? I'd rather experience an Animal Crossing with more different features rather than play the same game with the illusion of it being good because of "HD graphics".

    A: New Leaf already exists, so a Wii U version wouldn't require much development time. B: There isn't much to improve on regarding the Animal Crossing formula. New Leaf is more or less the pinnacle of the series at this point.

    There is always plenty of fresh ideas and features to add on and/or improve to any game, especially Animal Crossing. New Leaf proved that by introducing the idea of you becoming mayor and working on public works projects, Dream Suite, swimming in water, etc. So if they were to dig up more ideas, it could be a much greater successor to New Leaf. Remakes are unnecessary.
