Why are the tourneys basically empty in the morning?

There used to be a lot of players in the morning but now it is just empty. Are they more likely to appear in the afternoon?

No. I managed to enter one of the tourneys but it was laggy. I thought that would be the reason why tourneys are less active in the morning.
