～廃線探訪～　湖東線(ことうせん) 湖東線は、北本線(きたほんせん)から分岐して、畑の中を走っていたローカル線です。開通当初はそれなりに利益を得ていたものの、いつしか -1億5000万の赤字路線になっていました。そのため、社長の気まぐれで廃止になりました。こんな感じだった湖東線。廃線後は道路が整備される予定でした。ですが、市長の気まぐれで整備を後回しにしているため、今では線路跡は藪になっています。
