I'm surprised that they didn't remove the blood from the lose mugshots. (Like Ken here for example) I mean usually Nintendo wouldn't allow that level of violence in there games back then)

Surprisingly, some blood got through in other games too. Like the NES game "Monster Party," Capcom's "Bionic Commando," and even "EarthBound."
