A couple of weeks ago I got the chance to see this AWESOME band! For those who don't know who Kansas is they're a really famous rock band from the mid-70's through current. They're most notable songs are Carry On Wayward Son and Dust In The Wind. This actually was my first concert, despite me playing in a couple of shows here in there, and it was mind blowing!

    The reason I drew a wall (or at least attempted) was because my most favorite song from them is called The Wall. This song helped me through a really tough time in my life. I was in middle school and I was confused about things around me or in other words life. I also remember the exact time I heard it.     Zelda for the NES for the first time. I wasn't fortunate enough to be around when such a ground breaking game was released but I'm okay with that. Anyways I was sorta depressed and was playing through the first dungeon level and my brother was hearing this song and it immediately caught my ear.     Zelda. This song was beautiful to me. After listening to it again and hearing the lyrics it felt so close to me. I was resonating with the exact lyrics of the song. When I went to the concert I was hoping they'd play the song and after the second song they played it. I may sound like a girl right now but I immediately got teary eyed and lip singed along with the band.

    was at middle school and there was a huge crowd of people around me and all of a sudden everything stoped and this song came out. It was a pretty cool dream. Even till this day when I'm tired or drift off the road I'm supposed to go this song pops out almost anywhere I am. If it's either a car that passes by blasting this song or in the market or exct.     It's strange how I can relate through the whole song but I know they are others who are going through the same thing as me. Thanks for anyone who actually read through this. I'm such a huge fan of music in plural. It doesn't matter if it's from the caveman age or all the way to the alieny future if it sounds good I like it. Having to go see such a great band I like was truly beautiful rocking

    Wow, you really poured out a lot in these posts! Glad you had a blast at your concert and that it was everything you'd hope it would be! Also, wow your drawing is awesome! It looks like a still-shoot for the title screen of an 1980ish arcade game.

    Yeah I guess I did ^^` not much of an open guy so it did feel strange but it was a pretty strong moment of my life. I hear these guys and many others and they always seem something out of a fairy tale book so having to go see them first hand was amazing. Thanks Joe! It took me about 3 hrs. to get the drawing done.
