WOW! it's so beautiful. You really found your drawing app here, Hawk eye. I wish I could draw seascape the way you do. I love the boulders, and the sky and the light shimmering on the water. Did you use all the layers?

Thanks, Manda! You're right, 2Tea. It was reading your experiences with this app that convinced me to get it, so thank you for that! I did use all three layers. The sky is on the bottom, the rock formation in middle, and the water on top layer. Most of this was done with pencils- a lot more coloring but the results seem worthwhile!

So do I! xD I realize you can make a layer-like effect on AA HS & SP by fixing/drying your work, but individual true layers just give so much more flexibility!

mhmm i like colors3d for 3ds coz it has 5 layers but you can't post on miiverse :/

Yes, I bought that app under that assumption... I did make an account there, but I haven't posted anything there in a loooooong time. DAA feels like a fusion of AA & Colors!, now that I think about it. It has the layer system & marker tools of Colors!, and the smoother, realistic tools of AA. I guess that's another reason why I took so well to DAA.

That's so awesome! Glad it helped you decide to give it a shot! The transition from the wii u version to this - It's a totally zero to sixty experience. Would indeed be awesome if they had a version of this AA interface for the Wii u. Pretty amazing you've only used pencils for it.
