To Miiverse friends and followers. I have opened this discussion to talk all things Wii related. With Wii U releases drying up I am revisiting the past gen to pick up games I missed. Feel free to talk about Wii games you are playing, recommendations or games you would like to revisit etc.

Nintendo is the best but to be fair Naughty Dog also deserves the credit it gets.

Pete, yes, full of glitches, it's very well documented on Youtube. I have friend on fb who spams fb video examples of how broken it is directly from his PS4 gameplay. Stephen, Last of us was straight out lied about and enemy and friendly AI is embarrassing in it. The reviewers were pretty much payed off to hype it up. It paved way to what is now basically a toxic standard in game review industry

@Frishkii- Those particular Naughty Dog games are held in high regard, because of their story. You won't get games like that on Nintendo systems because Nintendo just don't make games like that. And no 3rd party lol. The closest thing to it, is Zelda, but strangely enough the story telling and overall experience of Zelda makes me feel something on a whole other level in a good way.

Just like when people say, it's not about graphics, but gameplay, i'm going to say it's not about glitches, it's the story. :) Story games can be the most memorable of all if they're that good. At least in my opinion.

Would you believe me if I said Mario Galaxy's story blows Last of us story out of the water? And I honestly do think so. Galaxy story was genuinely touching and heartbreakening, dealing with the loss of a parent in such a subtle and gentle way. ... pretty much go Rambo on everyone, but at the same time devs wanted to force the story as if you have human care about your daughter-like character... it was all very very facepalmish and out of the place. I'm pretty sure ND have aspirations to make movies instead of games, and even at that they go full-cliche style instead of genuine. Reviews were overblown and payed off, that is certain...

@Frishkii- Honestly...no. :) But i've only played SMG2. ;) But like Stephen said, Playstation are different. Naughty Dog game's play out like a movie, but I don't think they're held in high regard for no reason. ;) Obviously you have your opinion, and we have ours.

I completed The Last of us a couple of weeks ago and I personally think its one of the greatest video games I have ever played. This is coming from a very enthusiastic Nintendo supporter.

Friskii you must play Galaxy 2 it's a true classic, currently playing it on my beloved Wii U. Now I appreciate your views on PS but have you played Journey? It's a beautiful game & my fav on PS, it's currently free on PSN.
