hopeless...

so...im in 8th grade i think im very pretty but theres times when i feel unloved...my bff is not really a bff shes more of a boss and i dont like that...all the cute guys in my grade are taken and at my brothers football games theres this really cute guy but he says gross things about my body...i dont know wats wrong with me and why im not good enough...

    Okay, these girls are getting way out of hand. This is bullying and it is against the law. You need to tell the guidance counselor. I know you probably don't want to, and things might get worse, but as long as you keep telling someone that can do something about it, it will eventually get better. I know this from experience, so you have to tell someone or it will never stop.

    As for the boy, I want you to try this. I know you're probably breaking inside, but I want you to walk up to him with a confident look on your face, and I want you to ask him if he's really going to believe what a bunch of silly girls are going to tell him about you or if he wants to actually get to know you himself. If he says something cruel, don't react, and just walk away.

    To be truthful, you won't need him if he really turns his back on you. I don't think I had a true guy friend until my freshman year. If you can find a true gal friend then you're golden. And I am so sorry that I forgot to mention this earlier, but I forgot how well it works.

    Bullies are only looking for reactions. If you give them one, they'll just continue on and on. Even after you tell someone, you need to ignore them when they jab at you. Take a deep breath, concentrate on something else, and think, 'Their words do not affect me. Their words bounce off of me harmlessly.' I know you might not feel that way at the time, but this takes an infinite amount of patience.

    You need to focus on controlling your face to reflect that blankness. You can't show any sign that you heard them and just keep walking, reading, getting your stuff, or whatever you're doing at the time. And remember not to react. Don't even acknowledge them. Don't give them the time of day bc they're not worth even that. Believe in yourself. Don't give up hope.

    It will definitely get worse before it gets better, but it will get better and you can't lose hope that it will. Stay strong and remember that you've got me if you don't have anyone else, sweetheart. You need to find an adult to tell today, and you need to not react. Confront what's-his-face and get a true answer out of him.

    I know the non-reaction method works eventually bc it worked for me and my bullies eventually got tired of me. I was lucky to have my only friend with me but she went through it too. No matter how much you want to, don't snap at them or say anything, ANYTHING, back. It takes a lot of self-control but I know you can do it. You can struggle through this, sweetheart. You're a strong cinnamon roll <3

    i have a theory so at school claire wrote me a note i lauughed and then one of the mean girls snatched it so i said to clare quietly honestly guys like the blonde girls and they do clare laughed cuz shes blonde too but she said i know im brunette and the mean girls are blonde which makes sense as to why the guys like them

    lol I like your theory and it has a ring of truth to it. My crush was dating a blonde (she wasn't mean tho). And my friend seems to get noticed more when her hair gets sun-bleached over the summer. XD And it would explain why neither of us have boyfriends lol. We should start a Single Brunettes Club. (Clubs are a thing in high school XD)

    So, we had to do one more lap than we thought we had to and a few people complained. Then Eric complained and he complains most of the time. All the middle schoolers started saying some mean things to him and I got angry about hearing it. We're supposed to be a team! I whipped my head around and scream, "EVERYBODY STOP!" XD You should've seen the looks on their faces!

    One person actually said "Holy cow.." and the stunned silence that followed made me want to laugh. XD They were so shocked that I had yelled at them for being negative! But they stopped and that made me happy. ^^ I found that moment funny. Haha.
