  • Ron2600 I don't know either as to why there has been no announcement about F.A.S.T. I can tell you that Steamworld and F.A.S.T both appear to published by NOE in Europe. Where as Steamworld is being published by a different publisher here in the States from what I can tell. I would guess that NOA is being lazy as usual. Which is why we are getting treated differently.

  • Remember when Nintendo of America was an amazing company and actually took risks and cared about its customers? Yeah, I miss the GameCube era too. Eternal Darkness was my jam, man.

  • Dantroid, I would disagree on NA's preference of digital media. If that were true, the Xbox One would be a very different console. Remember the backlash they got for wanting a digital only console with almost orwellian limits on physical copies? Yeah we the gamers weren't about that at all and put a stop to that. I'd blame NoA wanting leaving this series DOA

  • The real problem with NOA is their concern about the bottom line only. Yes we all know they are a business and ultimately the goal is to make as much profit as possible. But Nintendo is in a situation that is very "make or break" right now. Most of the gaming community has outright dismissed them as an option at this point. Which means that they need to win consumers back. The only way to do that

  • is to cater to consumers. The problem with catering to consumers is that it may not always be profitable. Unfortunately NOA refuses to do that. It's pretty obvious they aren't listening or trying very hard when they act like they did us a favor by even releasing FF digitally. Especially when the majority of the cost was absorbed by NOE when they paid the translation costs!

  • Yet NOA refuses to budge on the digital only method of distribution of Fatal Frame. It's clear that consumers want a physical option for this game. It's been a year since it launched digitally and people are still asking for it. The great thing is that it's not just the same people asking for it over and over anymore. More and more new people are asking for it every week.

  • Nintendo of Europe is Good Guy Greg, meanwhile Nintendo of America is Scumbag Steve. Nintendo is stupidly loaded though, it'd take them roughly 20 years of doing literally nothing to even get close to bankruptcy. I don't think money is the real issue here. If it were, I feel we wouldn't even be asking for this still. Heck we'd probably have Mother 3 even.

  • And it's very true, more and more people are finding out about this every week, even every day maybe and joining in the want for a physical version so they can play it. The thread here back in May when LRG mentioned they were working on a physical release for this, it probably turned into the most 'yeahed' thread for this game. If that's not telling, I don't know what is.

  • lf they advertise it like thed did Splatoon or Mariokart 8, more people would buy the game.

    Yeahs2
  • Ron2600 That would require some effort and NOA can't be bothered to exert any of that. They are waaaaayyyyyy to lazy for that.

    Yeahs0
  • You're asking NoA to do their jobs? Hahahaha they ain't got time for that. They're incapable of giving fans what they want.

    Yeahs0
  • Just checking in, Nintendo of America. How go the plans to release this physically FOR YOUR FANS? I'd just LOVE to give you MY MONEY for this. I'd say take your time, but I'm getting a little fed up in waiting this long =/
