A Link To The Pasts ending. The king is revived, your uncle is back, Ganon is dead, and the Master Sword sleeps again.... forever!

Many Zelda games have wonderful endings, but stop short of total resolution so there will be continuity between that game and the next, such as Demise's curse or Ganon's survival. WW's ending still blows me away. The very fact that Ganon can only be destroyed at the expense of all of Hyrule is sadly poetic, yet also full of hope.

Ocarina Of Time. It brings back childhood memories of watching my dad play it!

Every time I think I've settled on an ending I think is best I think of another... They are just so good... If I HAVE to pick one it would probably be Wind Waker I guess... It's hard to pick it over my favorite game (OoT) but the battle with Ganondorf + the ocean = An incredible conclusion.

In a way, Wind Waker's ending is also the ending to OoT...

Tough question. I guess I'd have to say A Link Between Worlds, Skyward Sword, and Wind Waker.

It's not my favorite game, but I'd say Link's Awakening has the best ending. Journeying to wake up the Wind Fish, only to realize that everything and everyone is part of its dream, and will cease to exist when the fish wakes up? Very poignant.

seriously, was no one traumatized to see ganondorf crush midnas helmet and as a result, you gave him the beating of a lifetime. then to find out she not only survived, but you broke her curse as well.

Link's Awakening. It's the only game with a truly tragic ending, and makes you question the ethics of Link's (and by extension your) decision. And yet it manages to stay bittersweet and beautiful as well.

I would have to say twilight princess. I love TP because you go through the whole game sort of annoyed at Midna but when she leaves and shatters the mirror behind her you realize how much you have grown to like her and you feel so sad that she is gone forever.
