    The first thing to drawing Sonic is the muzzle. It's basically a Hot Dog shape and the Mouth is just a arrow curving up for his Iconic smirk.

    Now the Eyebrow is the #3 on its side and the Eyes are a Oval shape. Color them in black with a Small spot of white if you're drawing Classic Sonic. But if Modern make a Zero and do the same but color it green.

    After this, Make sure the head it round, This will help for drawing the Quills. Here's the Pattern to help with drawing his quills. The top one is the Shortest, The middle overlaps it and is the longest and the Last one is medium size and overlaps the middle.

    Finally, (After some erasing the extra lines) Add the the Ears. They're Cat Triangle ears. The one that's facing the front rests on Sonic's Brow and overlaps the top spike then Draw another Triangle inside it The other one on the far side, Don't draw the second triangle. the ears from the side view are suppose to look like they're going to different directions.
