野菜交通開発日記田千手村にあり、波千手村も近くにある、それだけの理由で田波空港と名付けられたこの空港、順調に損益を出しています。空港に隣接する駅、この駅は利用客が一番多く、11万人ほどで、快速停車駅なのですが、各路線のダイヤの関係上、かなり過密になっています。追い抜きや接続を特にすることなく、線路容量を増やすためだけの複々線ですが、それさえ平面交差で色々酷いことになってます。空港より先、西の隣町(快速)波千手村(各駅停車)の二方向に分岐します。
