スプラトゥーンの世界は現代の日本に当たる場所らしい。しかし、イカが日本を制圧し、ハイカラシティと名付けたそうだ。そしてイカは人より知能がはるかに低いのでフェスのお題の時のコピー機やフェス当日のトラックやこのWii U、コントローラ等が残されているそうだ。
