Also no excitement for Sonic Mania? ....It's literally the spitting image of what most fans have been pleading for/demanding for about a decade but, whatever.... I didn't even know about it until I saw somecallmejohnny's video. Seriously...they get what they want and ignore it? I just can't with this fanbase.....

    Seriously. I know what you mean. The fanbase has expectations, but thy were broken when 06 came out. Then Lost World and Boom came along.

    Look at the fans still pining for SA3 & creating fake trailers for Sonic Heroes 2 on Youtube. A lot of Sonic fans have cried,"Go back to your roots!"and"Bring back the 2D Genesis games!" Now that Sonic Team hasn't pulled another Nintendo by re-releasing the Genesis games in HD or 3D,but instead has created a brand-new yet still-familiar experience meeting all the fans'criteria, They.Don't.Care.

    Sonic Team creates two passion projects, one fans have anticipated for who knows how long, and it's lost in translation? Don't gripe just to gripe. These developers have dedicated their time and resources to create this game and I commend the fans who show their gratitude to Sonic Team. I hope they're the ones whose voices are heard going forward.

    Trust me, if SEGA can disconnect with the Sonic fanbase, their jobs would be a lot easier. I mean, "Project Sonic 2017" caught my eye on the livestream, and "Sonic-Mania" too. I appreciate those new titles. I have great memories with every Sonic game i've played. Whether it's 2D, or 3D.

    I'm a fan who appreciates all of their work. (Well, Sonic Heroes had great gameplay, but the dialogue gets annoying after quite some time.)
