I like how in the Steven Universe episode Sadie's Song Sadie didn't sing on stage at the end. It kinda bugs me in shows when someone who is nervous about performing in front of others is forced into the spotlight by others and instantly get over their stage fright. That's why I like those few occasions when that doesn't happen. Plus it shows how parents can be too pushy at times.

While I like The 7D episode Bathtub Bashful, it kinda bugs me that nobody asked Bashful if he was comfortable with singing on stage. They just expected him to do it. Given how shy he is, I thought it was a bit unfair that Queen Delightful didn't asked if he was okay with it.

In the Steven Universe episode, Steven and Sadie's mom were called out for trying to force Sadie into something she was uncomfortable with. Nobody gets called out in The 7D episode for forcing Bashful to sing on stage. In fact, they seem to portray Bashful in the wrong for not wanting to perform on stage.
