    There was actually one time someone posted "yeah and comment how popular I am", and I made fun of him by pointing out how he only had 11 followers (at least at that time). Some time later, he made his follower count private.

    I totally feel that way. If people want followers or friends, they can't just hide it. Plus, if they want to be popular no one can tell. It wouldn't matter if people saw their friends anyway, who cares. I honestly dislike people that do that. Because if they are asking for followers and make it hidden they isn't any point.
