湖水に映る街クリア後開発記#4 ようやく湖水に映る街の駅紹介です。今回は松京に近い「新西牧駅」の紹介です。この駅は、複ヶ線化工事が始まるまで真ん中2線は2中央新町方面への折り返し線として使用されていました。しかし、大都市の松京に乗り入れないため、設定の必要性が薄く、新西牧駅の配線変更によって折り返し線が廃止されたので、全て松京行きに統合されました。元々2年間だけの運行で本数も約2時間に1本のみだったので特に影響はありませんでした。また、開業当初は快速が停車する予定でしたが、需要が予想を下回ったため撤回されました。その代わり、全ての普通列車が次の西牧駅で快速or新快速と接続します。次は、この「西牧駅」を紹介します。
