    one) if you see someone hide, lock the door to the room your hiding in and call the cops two) if they are walking to your hiding place. stay as quiet as can be. If you are on the top floor and may not come up there and just rob the place and leave. Before calling the cops make 100% sure the it's really someone and not just your mind. if you live with people maybe just one of them.

    One time my friend was over and it was only us, we heard the door open when I locked it. My window was wide open so I quietly walked over to it. I closed it and it made a thump noise. My friend ran to my closet and shut the door. I heard someone walking around the halls. When my aunt got back 2½ hours later the door was still open.
