    The claw should go anywhere on screen, except where Link and the shopkeeper are standing. You just use the A and B buttons to move it to the right and down.

    You don't know? Well, after clearing the second dungeon, you'll have to get inside Kanalet Castle before you can enter the third one. You need to give the bananas to a monkey in order for him to build a bridge to get you inside.

    Just pick up a jar and throw it at it. You'll come across a few other doors, and even a chest, at one point, that have to be opened like that.
