My question is, why didn't Nintendo also give us the different color Toads for DLC? They gave us the colors of Yoshi and Shy Guy, so why not Toad? It would make sense :/

Colored shy guys were in mario super sluggers, along with the colored toads and yoshis. So they've all been in the same game once before. Also the colored shy guys are in smash run for smash 3ds

Theres a button on the bottom of the mk8 home screen that says Shop, at it'll show you the different options of the dlc then it will ask if you want to buy it

or if you got the deluxe version there is a code so u can get it for free.

The code only comes with the wii u mk8 deluxe bundle which comes with the system, mk8, and the dowload code for all dlc. So if you want the code, you're going to have to buy a whole new system
