I watched a Splatoon fan animation called: It All Ends With Fresh from a YouTuber named unusualbox. It has a lone boy Inkling walking on a beach and then arrives at a sea of purple and green ink. As it turns out, it's not a beach but the remains of Inkopolis, after the one thing that destroyed the Inkling utopia, the Final Splatfest, aka the Waifu War.

    As the Inkling looks at his hands in horror, which by the way has purple and green ink in them, he literally puts his ink covered hands in his eyes and the camera zooms out to behind the Inkling and pans up to see giant statues of the Squid Sisters themselves, both in the ink and well not that destroyed. But this is where it's gets dark, the Inkling takes his Splattershot and, well watch it.

    What the video is saying he couldn't decide on who to pick, making it an impossible choice on which Squid Sister reins supreme. He did decide but the animation is dark. I'm not kidding, it is dark.
