Let us check the design, in the front of the design we see that there is a pattern in the chest, looking like a Master Sword, this further indicates that maybe this clothing was really used by another Link. But it can also mean other things, like for example that these clothes were used by an order, an order of knights that followed the steps of the hero(s) of legends.

After all the description just says that it was maybe used by a famous hero, indicating that there were a multitude of people using the same cloths. Going back to the set your first find at the chamber, did you notice that somehow the old shirt resembles the blue one? It's old and lots it's color, but there are design signs they might be the same.

Like the small lines on the neck of the shirt. This might mean that this Link was already a member of said order from a young age, if we assume the cloths are his. Lets return to the blue tunic, people have stated that the armband looked like Gerudo ones from Ganondorf's from OoT, and they look like them to be honest.

But again, with the new master sword design on the blue tunic, that theory might get discarded soon.

Let's move on to swords, and they are indeed quite a few out there, but this part is going to be short so. We start this with the rusty sword you find early in the game, it's stuck on a pillar that's surrounded by a small lake.

The item description said that these sword were used by warriors but now its all rusty and useless, well not exactly useless but they won't last for much longer. What's interesting about this first sword is the location you find it, it's near the Temple of Time. So that might mean the sword was used by a member of the order I talked earlier, and he plunged the sword to the ground after his duty

Was fulfilled. Another theory and much more sad one is that the sword means the resting place of a warrior, it was costum to plunge the sword on the ground where knights and other warriors passed away. Others consider it a nice Easter egg, reminding you of the swords found in the Lost Woods in ALttP, which can be a reference since you are close to the Temple, were the master sword is often found

The second sword you find is the Traveler Sword, the description indicates its a sword used by travelers to fend of wolves and other monsters, so there is not much to say about it. The last sword found in the demo is the Knight Sword, the description says these were swords used by the knights who defended Hyrule Castle long ago.

So maybe the blue tunic is indeed a knight order attire, one that defended Hyrule in the ages past. And that the game is trying to tell us is that this Link is in reality a knight of Hyrule.

And finally we got shields, the traveler shield is the only one to pick our interest. It's design is the most interesting part of it. Just like the Hylian Shield has the blue bird and the Triforce on its design, the Traveler Shield has its own, dictating two dragons on it. The shield looks like an eye as well of you do not pay attention to it.

It's ok, no offense taken. But these being mere speculation wording is important, as people might miss understand and say I'm stating facts instead of thoughts. But the idea is to bring people and talk about what they found on the game and what they think about it. It failed I guess

@Ash: Well to be honest, that's what theories are, mere speculation. Besides that, it seems Nintendo wants to put the BotW story on the environment, you will know more of what happened if you pay attention to your surroundings.

@Ash: Towns? Well I consider that given the scope of the game, there will be lots of towns. But these will be small villages and towns, I dont expect big cities in the game because of the decay theme going on. I also consider that Towns will be named just like Zelda two, after the Sages: Rauru, Saria, Darunia, Ruto...

Impa and the spirit sage (can't remember her name right now) There is also the possibility of a Goron settlement and a Zora's Domain, Kakariko Village will make a return as well, but it will be destroyed just like the town near the Temple of Time.

Koroks will have their own place as well, and I feel he floating island will have inhabitants of some sort. Then we will see settlements all over the small, with no names, just people who live in the wild. :3
