    1: It's a continuation from the first one. 2: It takes place in space. 3: A new rival to the Inklings are introduced. (Probably a species identical to Cheep-Cheeps. Who knows?)

    Hm, I don't know. Splatoon is an online-based game to me. Sure it had a story mode, but I mean no one really cared for it. The only reason I cared was because of the weapons. Also, if it was in space, how would they breathe? And if they would need to wear spacesuits, that takes away the customization. And wouldn't the Ink just float off?

    I'm not saying you specifically, Morton, but a lot of people have been asking for a sequel. Also may I ask, what would be the new gameplay mechanics? I think the current ones are great.

    They could probably add some of the same things from the original, like TW battles and all that, but to me, maybe there could be a chance that they could add Callie and Marie as playable characters in story mode or something like that as well.

    Well, the Wii U is fast becoming obsolete, so updating for new content isn't exactly going to be the optimal solution anymore. So, would you rather a straight up port to the NX, or would you rather have some new content to play around with? I for one would prefer the latter.

    While the original Splatoon's story mode seems like it was pretty much an after thought, that doesn't mean a sequel couldn't have something a bit more substantial for the story mode. As for new gameplay mechanics, they're not exactly new per-se, but I for one would have liked to see more of the singleplayer gimmicks make their way into the multiplayer stages, like ink rails and sponges.

    I'm guessing they should name it "Splatoon NX" instead, because, y'know. The 3DS won't really work for a shooting game like that, and yeah. So there could be a chance of it coming out next year after the official NX release or something.

    Nintendo Well Now Could Of Have Shown In E3 2017 I Know It Didn't Happen Yet But I Just Know Splatoon Is Based On Only An Online & Story Mode But I Think People Only Like It Because Of Splatfests And Weapons That Splatoons Uses Even The Secrets Of Splatoon Like In Story Mode When Your At The Boss And U Stay around Long U Hear Noises So I Don't Know People Hate Splatoon Or Not?
