    As a matter of fact, TLoZ Breath of the Wild can be seen as a remake of the original TLoZ. Let me explain: The first Zelda has got a huge world for the standards of 1986 and the idea of it was to explore and rescue the world in your own way. You were given the freedom to go wherever you want without being restricted by the story line or some gameplay mechanics. This spirit found it's reincarnation

    in TLoZ Breath of the Wild. In this game you can go wherever you want; you can also reach the final boss without having one closer look to the world. Of course: It hasn't got the same storyline but it is made by the Spirit of the original TLoZ. Just wanted to contribute that to this topic as it is a quite interesting point of view
