I remember beating this version twice when I was younger: the first time, I completely neglected Pikachu, and had a Nidoking that carried the team at Lv 70+ (rest of the team was low-mid 50s). Second playthrough, I gave Pikachu some love & gave other team combos a try. Nidoqueen might have been the backup in that case!
