Ok guys: Last night there was a monsoon.(a storm involving rain,wind,and dust.Very common during the summer time in a valley.) My dad and his GF went to the store for 1 hour so it was me and my big sis. I heard the neighbors yellin "A TREE!" I looked outside and the tree at the front of the house fell down a inch to smashing my dads car! It was sad because thats my childhood tree.

    Its ok... It was not your fault. I dont know how we are going to get money to fix it. And my friends are gunna be sad to hear it because we grew up playing on that tree... But hey! When my dad is getting money for it we can still play on it! But im sure it wont take long for him.

    Yeah... When me and my big sis went outside, We heard growling. IT WAS THE NEIGHBORS DOG! I told my sis to slowly come inside. The dogs were scratching up the door and the neighbors didnt do anything! There were just standing there going "OMG! your tree." THIS WAS OUR TOURIST ATRACTION! But the dog ran us away from it... We could have got hurt.

    I understand the general feeling of an intense storm, but never one that intense, and I'm sorry that happened to you. Here in Texas, we don't get monsoons, but the saying of if you don't like the weather in Texas wait five minutes is very true. We've had 20 minute storms and two day storms, but never one to knock down the tree on my family's property, just a branch or two. I hope everybody was OK.

    Oh no @James: Ive lived in Texas for 2 years with my mom. The weather is horrid... Guess what guys? THE POWER WENT OUT FOR 5 HOURS! No Miiverse for 5 hours so i was playing mario kart untill I heard the tree fall. I collected... 300+ coins while doing so.
