～雨降りし渓谷～ #10 遠津川線の終点で若亀線との乗り換え駅、新社駅です。ホームが貨物ターミナルを挟み分断されているのが特徴です。1番線(一番北)には若亀線尾鷹行き、2番線(1番線の南)には遠津川線城斗行き、3番線(貨物ターミナルの南のほうの駅の駅舎側)には若亀線串木行き、4番線には遠津川線直通の串木行き･串木発の城斗行きが発着します。ちなみに貨物ターミナルからは石炭運搬専用車と資材運搬専用車が発着します。ダイヤはほぼ完成しているので、次回辺りで紹介したいと思います。
