Is the Sonic franchise back again?

with the announcement of Sonic Mania and Project Sonic 2017, i'm pretty shure that this franchise is going to be great again. But what about you? Do you think Sonic is going to become as great as he was? (i'm not saying that he wasn't great 3 years ago).

As long as Sonic Mania is released for the NX, I will believe in Sanic again. Although, if it isn't, RIP.
