    It's it's own game. The setting has the same names and style but the story is a bit altered, and is updated, and there's a reason for that. But it's not a simple quick-hash rerelease. Also it has a slightly expanded story and some extra stuff, plus the new mega evolutions and update to include Pokémon from 2006 on, plus internet activity like world wide battles/trading
