    Boom is tedious, 06 can be funny but infuriatingly hard. (Examples: Tails' Flight, Tails using Dummy Ring Bombs, The reach on Amy's Hammer, you gotta slap stuff to grab it with your psychokinesis as Silver, Knuckle's and Rouge's glide is too steep, Knuckles and Rouge can't jump off walls, you can't jump into enemys, the light speed dash and bounce bracelet are on the same button, I'll do more.

    In my opinion, I feel like Sonic '06 was kinda better than Boom only cuz the story made slightly more sense while Boom doesn't have that good of a story and doesn't really make much sense. Especially with Shadow just being there for no reason. I mean, he's just there to be there; like that one person that just stands around and makes conversations awkward. :/

    To me, Boom made a lot more sense, because the whole story didn't focus around time travel, so it didn't have 1,000,000 plotholes, inconstancys, and time paradoxes. Yes, Boom isn't very good about background on these characters, like, how did Sonic and Tails meet? What's Shadow's Beef? Why isn't Knuckles guarding the Master Emerald? Is there a Master Emerald/Crystal, I guess.

    I've played up to Tropical Jungle on Sonic's Story, and there are a lot of problems, ranging from broken loops, hitting the sides of the checkpoint, random fails by fences or tires (Crisis City and Radical Train in particular), an unfair fail in that volcano (forgot the level name) during an automated scene, broken mechanics, etc.

    Finally, Shadow in Sonic Boom DID have more of a reason of being there, but only in the Japanese version, and his initial appearance is still non existant The Japanese version has a robot like voice because apparently Shadow had a chip installed and was working for Lyric, but apparently it weren't ok for everyone else and was just scrapped
