As someone who grew up with the original(favourite game), this one was a disappointment for me. Controls were slapdash and imprecise. The camera was horrid, which led to MANY instances of enemies respawning and hitting me before I could react(GUSTY!). This made it feel like a badly ported game that suffered from 'screen crunch'. Stage design was ranged from interesting to terrible and cruel.
