    I didn't even get far enough to notice that. The thing controlled like a sack of bricks, and the controls are so weird I don't think I'd ever get used to them. Overall, it seems like you'd LOSE a lot of time by trying to use a horse in most situations.

    Ah well, horses are for transportation anyway and Link isn't necessarily going to easily function like an FE Paladin. It's probably better overall than Minecraft though. There, it seems that one has to either dismount or make a path when it comes to forests and rivers.

    Actually, I've ridden horses in Minecraft, and I'd rather ride a Minecraft horse through a JUNGLE than try to ride a BOTW horse on anything other than basically flat, empty terrain. In the same way I wouldn't want to pilot a supertanker ship in anything but open ocean.
